What are my thoughts on perfumes available today?
Every time I go out and test commercial fragrances, I leave slightly disappointed.
Not because they smell bad.
Because too many feel designed to impress before they're designed to be remembered.
The opening explodes. Powerful. Sweet. Loud. Immediate.
And I understand why.
At the counter, a fragrance has seconds to capture your attention. That first impression can decide whether you keep smelling — or put the bottle back.
But I don't judge perfume in five seconds.
I smell it after 20 minutes. After two hours. On skin. On clothes. I want to know what remains when that spectacular opening disappears.
And that's where I often lose interest.
Different bottles. Different campaigns. Different stories — yet strangely familiar structures underneath.
The same modern musks. Woody ambers. Sweetness. Huge projection.
Eventually, individuality starts disappearing.
This isn't necessarily bad perfumery. It's commercial perfumery designed to perform at scale.
Rebel Palm is looking for something different.
I don't just want someone to say:

I want them to remember who was wearing it.
